The initial purpose of this site was to promote my consultancy services. After a career involving senior academic, research and management roles in both social policy and local government, I was able to offer a wide range of expertise to potential clients. Early clients included both the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, and the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales. However, now that I have retired, this site will be developed in ways that reflect my current interests of gardening, keeping sheep, reading and taking photographs. It will also include some reflections on causes and campaigns.
